Google's point of view is that everything in an OS can be done on the internet. With netbooks now coming with wireless internet from the phone companies, netbook owners always have access to the internet. Why not make an OS that proves their point?

I also see this OS as a great tool for public computers used in library's and schools. Almost everyone has a google email account and can thus login and do anything a normal pc can do without the possibility of infecting the pc with viruses.

I tried houndred times but it's quite lazy when you try to log into if you don't have the exactly conection configuration. But from what I saw in other pages and vids it only for the gmail account, it's not an OS as the ones people now...
From my point of view its acceptable for an old cell phone but for a PC... It's quite "bad stuff".
