1. First you need an .ISO to burn. This can be one that you downloaded (Linux distribution) or from a movie you want to back up. Once you have your .ISO, navigate to that file using your file browser.
2. Right click on the file and choose “Open with CD/DVD Creator.” This will open the CD/DVD creator window entitled “Write to Disc”. There you can choose what to name the CD/DVD and the burn speed.

3. Open CDBurnerXP, and choose ‘Create Data CD/DVD‘ at the pop-up window.

5. Click ‘…‘ to select the ISO you would like to burn. Then, navigate to the folder where the .ISO file is located.
6. Choose a burning speed. It is usually best to choose a slower speed such as 4x or 6x. You can however choose to burn at the fastest speed that your CD/DVD burner will allow. However, this will increase the chance of errors occurring during the burning process.

9. Click ‘Burn disc‘ to burn your .ISO file to disc.
